The cutting tool has jaws are made of forged tool steel with a black oxide finish and includes exceptionally strong fiberglass handles with heavy vinyl grips. It has beveled tips for positive mating, a hinge bolt with pin-set nut for proper blade tension and heavy-duty pins in the head to serve as blade-stops. This lightweight utility cable cutter is not designed for ACSR.
