It fits standard 4 x 4-inch square posts on deck, pergola, and similar application footings. 2 methods can be used for installation. The first is drilling a hole in existing concrete and gluing these post spike 4×4 holders into the hole. The second is pouring wet concrete and installing the wood post ground anchor holders while the mud is still wet. The rebar spike end is for shearing strength and needs to be inserted entirely into the concrete, so the U-shaped bracket bottom is sitting flush with surface. Use 7/16 or 1/2 bolt size in the centre opening and 1/4 bolt size for corner openings of predrilled screw holes. Not intended for ground insertion.
