The ReceptXtenders 1/2 in. 2-gang electrical box extender is used to shim out the box flush with newly installed wall surfaces. Prevents the need to tear apart the wall to move the box. Simply select the proper thickness ReceptXtender, remove 2 mounting screws from device, place the receptXtender over the device and reinstall the 2 mounting screws. Now your device is flush with your new wall.
