DETEX ECL-230D Series RIM Exit Device with alarm is a code compliant battery alarmed rugged dead bolt panic device. Designed for primary and secondary exits that require an alarmed panic device with steel plate and photo-luminescent sigh providing managed security. Has 100 decibel alarm that will sound when someone attempts to exit. Has attack resistant design that withstands over 2200-lbs. of outside pull force. Durable steel plate with photo luminescent sign absorbs light to then “glow in the dark” when lights are dimmed or go out. This device fits most doors and is easy to install. It’s powered by a 9V battery included. Accepts 5-pin through 7-pin standard and interchangeable core rim cylinders sold separately. Single point 1″ throw dead bolt is saw-resistant and locking and unlocking the dead bolt always arms and disarms the alarm. Resetting alarm can only be accomplished with control key. Helps control traffic deters unauthorized exits and provides security.
